Get in touch with the idyllic Maltese way of life in Sliema, one of Malta's most popular holiday hotspots. And where better to stay than the wonderful Waterfront Hotel? With its four-star facilities and five-star outlook, it's the perfect place to enjoy the holiday lifestyle. Dip into the Mediterranean café culture; enjoy beautiful walks along the sea front, or indulge yourself with a little bit of shopping along the Promenade. The capital city, Valetta is just a ferry ride across the bay, or hop on a bus to the island's entertainment capital, Paceville.
It's no surprise that the Waterfront Hotel is one of Sliema's most popular four-star hotels. Its views, its facilities and its idyllic harbour-side location put it top of the list for many holidaymakers. Added to that, you've got your pick of shops and nightlife, clubs and bars, cafes and restaurants, all within easy striking distance of the Waterfront.
And don't forget comfort. That's top of the list here where spacious twin and double rooms are kitted out for cosy downtime. All rooms come with cable TV and radio, cooler, safe, hairdryer and direct dial phone. And yes, you can choose a room with a wonderful sea view for a supplement.
With so much to explore in Sliema and Valetta, don't forget to spend some time enjoying the Waterfront Hotel itself. There's a restaurant and snack bar, a comfortable lounge and even a hairdresser, all on site.
Malta has it all; sun, sea and shopping, as well as a rich cultural heritage and plenty of good food and bonhomie. Choosing the Waterfront Hotel gives the perfect base to get out there and soak it all up.

The hotel lived up to expectation as a quality four star.
Front desk are very polite and helpful. We were made to feel welcome. They gave us what we requested as in a room.i had an issue with a meal we had but this was sorted quite quickly. I would recommend and we will go back.
Lovely Hotel, really good staff. We were half board the evening meal was a small number of choices but all were well cooked and tastey.
The hotel was ideally placed for the ferries and buses. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The facilities that we used were good and the breakfasts were also very good.
Hotel In excellent location to public transport/water ferries/boat trips. Excellent spot for exploring the island easily.
Breakfast excellent. Went half board but probably wouldn't bother next time as although food fairly good, there is no atmosphere in the dining room probably down to the fact most people go bed and breakfast. Most nights there were only about a handful of people dining. Staff mostly very pleasant especially the daytime reception staff. Only thing was we couldn't have our room until 2pm a d arrived at 11am. However we were able to put our cases in a locked room behind reception.
We had a superior sea view room and the view was brilliant. The only thing it lacks is an outdoor pool.
Very friendly and helpful staff across all departments. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we have been a few times now and stayed in various hotels.
Excellent location.Friendly helpful staff.
A very well situated hotel for a city break in Malta. Ferry to Valletta and buses nearby and a great shopping centre too. Beautiful view over the harbour. Worth upgrading to a superior room. Good breakfast.
Mercury's website was very good and easy to use. Any queries I had prior to our holiday were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our transfers to and from the airport in Malta were quick and efficient I will certainly have no hesitation in booking with Mercury again in the future.
Hotel all that we wanted. Staff excellent and very helpful.
The Waterfront is in a great location; easy for Valletta; hop on hop off buses and harbour views. We would recommend this hotel and location
Now that the Fortina Hotel is demolished, the Waterfront is the best hotel in Sliema for the views to Valletta, service & food.
This was my fourth visit to the Waterfront.
We had a fantastic stay and got to know the staff very well. They were extremely helpful and friendly
Did the tours the rep was excellent.
First class service in a very well presented hotel
We had a lovely holiday, Thank you.
I was expecting a side single room with Harbour views. Wow, I was given a beautiful large double room on the sixth floor, front of the hotel. The most wonderful view of Harbour and Valetta, plus a mini bar. The only problem was the shower drained too slowly and on one occasion it overflowed over the little barrier and into the bathroom.
Service was excellent from our maid to the waiters in the breakfast room.
Staff very friendly. Hotel drinks prices very good. Clean and tidy Hotel.
The hotel was well situated for the bus to other parts of the island & Valetta and the ferry to Valetta. The staff in the hotel were very courteous and helpful. We found lots of good restaurants in the surrounding area and enjoyed our time in that part of Malta and intend to re-visit the island.
The hotel staff were excellent.
Happy with the service at the Hotel. This is the third time we have been to this hotel, and they have been very kind and caring.
This was our second stay at this hotel. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and in fact recommended it to another holidaymaker when asked.
A perfect place to stay.
